And depending on which version of the Chinese zodiac you use, the change out year of the rabbit for year of the cat. *looks rather smug*

I noticed that in regards to the Vietnamese zodiac, but the Chinese zodiac only seems to have stories regarding the rat's trickery of the cat. But the earthly branches have been reshuffled so often that I may have missed it...do you happen to have a link?

No worries! I was just afraid that I'd missed something glaringly obvious...or, worse, been reading touristy information! *gasp* They're so closely tied! It seems like every little island-nation in that part of the world developed their own variation.
